I first met Marion, way back, when I used to call for Jill on the way to school. The house was full of laughter, the smell of freshly made toast, and Scruffy the wonder dog! I always felt so welcome and Marion was kind thoughtful and full of fun. Although I only saw her a couple of times in later life she was still as lively and humorous as I remembered and had a great partnership with Peter.
