Our memories are mainly of parties on the Woodchurch estate at Derek and Marions'. We never quite knew what Marian was going to do next and it was usually something that highly amused Chris and Sarah. Marion was brilliant at making an entrance like the time she turned up at a barn dance in a massive foam  ten gallon hat,(she did have a good supply of fancy dress items).  Chris and Sarah have happy memories of their week at Butlins playing bingo with Marion and dancing over a bridge arms linked singing loudly on the way back to the chalet. I still have the set of china pigs Sarah won at bingo that she gave me as a present.  We had only met Peter a few times but Marion deserved the holidays and cruises she and Peter enjoyed as she had been so devoted in her care for Derek after his stroke.
